Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A bird's nest, with white nasturtiums and other flowers by Vincent Clare was sold in the The Sunday Sale - Property of Mrs. Gwen Pethick; Property of a Gentleman and Property of a Gentleman removed from Seisdon Hall, South Staffordshire. auction at Christies in London in March 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 785.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincent Clare achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Primroses, apple blossom, and a wicker basket, on a mossy bank; and Plums and grapes on a mossy bank in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 5,875.00 (€ 9,312.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A bird's nest, with white nasturtiums and other flowers von Vincent Clare wurde im März 2008 in der Auktion The Sunday Sale - Property of Mrs. Gwen Pethick; Property of a Gentleman and Property of a Gentleman removed from Seisdon Hall, South Staffordshire. bei Christies in London versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Primroses, apple blossom, and a wicker basket, on a mossy bank; and Plums and grapes on a mossy bank im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.875,00 (€ 9.312,60).
