Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Summer Heat by Victor Dovbenko was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,401.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Dovbenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work After the flood, which sold at auction in January 2007 for GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,621.05).
