Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunrise by Victor Dovbenko was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2006. The price achieved of GBP 600.00 (€ 890.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Victor Dovbenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work After the flood in January 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,621.05).
