Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work An Evening'S Fishing by Victor Dovbenko. The price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,031.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Dovbenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work After the flood, which sold at auction in January 2007 for GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,621.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Evening'S Fishing von Victor Dovbenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.031,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Dovbenko mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit After the flood beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.621,05) versteigert wurde.
