A top price for Victor Dovbenko - as previously expected
The work After the flood by Victor Dovbenko was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2007. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,621.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, After the flood is the most expensive artwork by Victor Dovbenko that we have observed at auctions so far.
