Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Vanessa Redgrave by Victor Skrebneski for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,101.65). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Skrebneski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bette Davis, Los Angeles, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 30,240.00 (€ 25,488.87).
