Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vanessa Redgrave by Victor Skrebneski was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2009. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,540.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Skrebneski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bette Davis, Los Angeles, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 30,240.00 (€ 25,488.87).
