Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Set of seven plates by Victor Pivovarov was sold in the Contemporary Art Day auction at Phillips in London in June 2009. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,734.66) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pivovarov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych with a Snake in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 185,141.64).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Set of seven plates von Victor Pivovarov wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.734,66) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Pivovarov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Triptych with a Snake im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 185.141,64).
