In July 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale, which included the work Les Meules, Le Soir by Victor Charreton. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,535.00 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Charreton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Château sur la rivière in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,759.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Meules, Le Soir von Victor Charreton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.535,00 und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Charreton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Château sur la rivière im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.759,83).
