This artwork by Vera Molnar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2017. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Stucture de Quadrilateres (Square) sold for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,523.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Molnar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 2% of disorder in co-operation #01 in April last year with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 131,536.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vera Molnar erzielte im September 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Stucture de Quadrilateres (Square) für USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.523,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Molnar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 2% of disorder in co-operation #01 im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 131.536,49).
