In October 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art, which included the work Figures by Valentine Prax. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,166.05) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Valentine Prax have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2008 the work Paysage was auctioned for EUR 16,110.00.
