It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Valentine Prax have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage in July 2008 with an auction result of EUR 16,110.00.

Die Arbeit Le Panier aux poissons von Valentine Prax wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion 19th Century & Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.250,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Valentine Prax auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.110,00.
