Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Before the performance by Valentine Prax was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. Admittedly, works by Valentine Prax have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage in July 2008 with an auction result of EUR 16,110.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Before the performance von Valentine Prax kam im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Valentine Prax auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.110,00.
