In October 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian and Latin American Art, which included the work Euterpe, Muse De La Musique by Valentine Prax. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Valentine Prax have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage in July 2008 with an auction result of EUR 16,110.00.

Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian and Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Euterpe, Muse De La Musique von Valentine Prax zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Valentine Prax auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.110,00.
