In March 2018 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Collection Arthur Brandt, which included the work Femme-Onde by Valentine Hugo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,750.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentine Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud in March last year with an auction result of GBP 1,042,750.00 (€ 1,236,297.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Collection Arthur Brandt durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme-Onde von Valentine Hugo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.750,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentine Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.042.750,00 (€ 1.236.297,48).
