Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Kitaina meii nanbyo ryoji (The Marvelous Doctor Treats Serious Diseases) by Utagawa Kuniyoshi for GBP 384.00 (€ 444.97). This price was achieved in the auction Japan-Mania (Online-only) at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Utagawa Kuniyoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mitsukuni Defying The Skeleton Spectre Conjured Up By Princess Takiyasha (Souma No Furudairi Yokai Ga Shadokuro To Tatakau Oya Notarou Mitsukuni) in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 234,848.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Kitaina meii nanbyo ryoji (The Marvelous Doctor Treats Serious Diseases) von Utagawa Kuniyoshi für GBP 384,00 (€ 444,97) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Japan-Mania (Online-only) bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Utagawa Kuniyoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mitsukuni Defying The Skeleton Spectre Conjured Up By Princess Takiyasha (Souma No Furudairi Yokai Ga Shadokuro To Tatakau Oya Notarou Mitsukuni) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 234.848,90).
