Edo period (1615-1868), circa 1847-1852
An oban tate-e print titled Hito katamatte hito ni naru, (Men Come Together to Make a Man), depicting a half-length portrait of a man pointing his finger, his face and body made up of intertwined figures, published by Yamatoya Kyubei, two nanushi censor's seals Muramatsu and Yoshimura; signed Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi giga. 37.3cm x 25.1cm (14 11/16in x 9 7/8in).
