Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Ulf Rahmberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 6,500.00 (€ 594.78). Admittedly, works by Ulf Rahmberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Nr. 14 (juli-augusti. 1964)" in April 2018 with an auction result of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,835.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ulf Rahmberg im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 6.500,00 (€ 594,78) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ulf Rahmberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Nr. 14 (juli-augusti. 1964)" im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.835,02).
