Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ulf Rahmberg could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Ägget" changed hands for SEK 6,000.00 (€ 549.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ulf Rahmberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Nr. 14 (juli-augusti. 1964)" in April 2018 with an auction result of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,835.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ulf Rahmberg konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Ägget" für SEK 6.000,00 (€ 549,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ulf Rahmberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Nr. 14 (juli-augusti. 1964)" im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.835,02).
