The work Silent Mountain by Tu Hongtao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,585.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tu Hongtao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In Dream and Somnus in October 2015 with an auction result of CNY 1,950,000.00 (€ 279,555.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Silent Mountain von Tu Hongtao kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 13.585,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tu Hongtao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In Dream and Somnus im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.950.000,00 (€ 279.555,33).
