Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Under Debate by Tu Hongtao was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 230,000.00 (€ 23,679.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tu Hongtao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In Dream and Somnus in October 2015 with an auction result of CNY 1,950,000.00 (€ 279,555.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Under Debate von Tu Hongtao kam im Oktober 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 230.000,00 (€ 23.679,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tu Hongtao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In Dream and Somnus im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.950.000,00 (€ 279.555,33).
