Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tu Hongtao was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 377,600.00 (€ 44,113.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tu Hongtao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In Dream and Somnus in October 2015 with an auction result of CNY 1,950,000.00 (€ 279,555.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tu Hongtao kam im Oktober 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 44.113,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tu Hongtao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In Dream and Somnus im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.950.000,00 (€ 279.555,33).
