Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tempting Street by Tu Hongtao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,303.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tu Hongtao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In Dream and Somnus in October 2015 with an auction result of CNY 1,950,000.00 (€ 279,555.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tempting Street von Tu Hongtao kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.303,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tu Hongtao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In Dream and Somnus im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.950.000,00 (€ 279.555,33).
