Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tsuyoshi Maekawa was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 94,207.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tsuyoshi Maekawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 320,087.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tsuyoshi Maekawa kam im November 2017 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 94.207,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 700.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tsuyoshi Maekawa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 320.087,58) versteigert wurde.
