Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work by Tsuyoshi Maekawa was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,323.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsuyoshi Maekawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 320,087.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Work von Tsuyoshi Maekawa wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.323,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsuyoshi Maekawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 320.087,58).
