Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work by Tsuyoshi Maekawa was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,408.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 18,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsuyoshi Maekawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 320,087.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Work von Tsuyoshi Maekawa kam im April 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.408,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 18.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsuyoshi Maekawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 320.087,58).
