In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Asia, which included the work Work by Tsuyoshi Maekawa. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,773.57), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsuyoshi Maekawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 320,087.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work von Tsuyoshi Maekawa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.773,57) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsuyoshi Maekawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 320.087,58).
