Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wash N' Set (Yellow) by Tschabalala Self was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in April 2021. The price achieved of GBP 50,250.00 (€ 57,802.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tschabalala Self have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Princess in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 435,000.00 (€ 504,165.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wash N' Set (Yellow) von Tschabalala Self wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.250,00 (€ 57.802,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tschabalala Self auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Princess im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 435.000,00 (€ 504.165,99).
