Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Tsang Tsou Choi was sold in the Contemporary Art – Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,133.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsang Tsou Choi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Tsang Tsou Choi wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Art – Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.133,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
