Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Patio de los Arlequines by Trino Sánchez for USD 8,812.50 (€ 9,386.98). This price was achieved in the auction MODERN, POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART at Christies in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trino Sánchez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Circo rojo, which sold at auction in June 2000 for USD 23,500.00 (€ 24,620.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Patio de los Arlequines von Trino Sánchez für USD 8.812,50 (€ 9.386,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion MODERN, POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART bei Christies in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Trino Sánchez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Circo rojo beobachtet, die im Juni 2000 für USD 23.500,00 (€ 24.620,22) versteigert wurde.
