In June 2000 Christies in New York held the auction The Latin American Sale, which included the work Circo rojo by Trino Sánchez. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,500.00 (€ 24,620.22), 57% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Circo rojo the most expensive artwork by Trino Sánchez that we have observed at auctions so far.
