Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Paisaje en la playa by Trino Sánchez for USD 7,170.00 (€ 7,677.48). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trino Sánchez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Circo rojo, which sold at auction in June 2000 for USD 23,500.00 (€ 24,620.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paisaje en la playa von Trino Sánchez für USD 7.170,00 (€ 7.677,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Trino Sánchez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Circo rojo beobachtet, die im Juni 2000 für USD 23.500,00 (€ 24.620,22) versteigert wurde.
