Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tethera (unframed) by Trevor Bell was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,329.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trevor Bell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Black And White Abstraction, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,136.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tethera (unframed) von Trevor Bell wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.329,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Trevor Bell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Black And White Abstraction beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.136,11) versteigert wurde.
