Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work In and Around by Trevor Bell. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,613.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Trevor Bell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Black And White Abstraction in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,136.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit In and Around von Trevor Bell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.613,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Trevor Bell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Black And White Abstraction im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.136,11).
