Auction result well in line with expectations
The work As Whites Rose (unframed) by Trevor Bell was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,806.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Trevor Bell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Black And White Abstraction in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,136.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit As Whites Rose (unframed) von Trevor Bell wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.806,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Trevor Bell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Black And White Abstraction im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.136,11).
