A top price for Trevor Bell - as previously expected
In December 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Black And White Abstraction by Trevor Bell. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,136.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Black And White Abstraction is the most expensive artwork by Trevor Bell that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black And White Abstraction von Trevor Bell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.136,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Black And White Abstraction das teuerste Kunstwerk von Trevor Bell, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
