Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Redder by Trevor Bell was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,424.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Trevor Bell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Black And White Abstraction in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,136.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Redder von Trevor Bell kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.424,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Trevor Bell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Black And White Abstraction im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.136,11).
