It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,964.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tom McGrath; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,148.27).
