Sold at the lower estimate price
In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Cd - Scan by Tobias Madison. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,110.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Tobias Madison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cd - Scan von Tobias Madison zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.110,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tobias Madison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
