Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Cd Scan by Tobias Madison for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,181.17). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Tobias Madison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cd Scan von Tobias Madison für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.181,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tobias Madison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
