Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Online, which included the work Untitled (Sottsass, Sottsass, Mendini, Sottsass, Sottsass) by Tobias Madison. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,599.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Tobias Madison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Sottsass, Sottsass, Mendini, Sottsass, Sottsass) von Tobias Madison zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.599,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tobias Madison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
