Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde, which included the work Dutch Still Life by Tinus van Doorn. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tinus van Doorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Portrait in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 21,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch Still Life von Tinus van Doorn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tinus van Doorn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Portrait im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.750,00.
