Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Head of a Girl by Tinus van Doorn. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tinus van Doorn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Portrait in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 21,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head of a Girl von Tinus van Doorn zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tinus van Doorn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Portrait im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.750,00.
