Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Lab Party (Before They Were Beatles Series) by Tim White-Sobieski for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,915.51). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim White-Sobieski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lab Party (From Before They Were Beatles), which sold at auction in March 2018 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,204.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lab Party (Before They Were Beatles Series) von Tim White-Sobieski für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.915,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tim White-Sobieski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lab Party (From Before They Were Beatles) beobachtet, die im März 2018 für USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.204,55) versteigert wurde.
