Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (94.08) 1994 by Tim Maguire was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2005. The price achieved of AUD 119,500.00 (€ 72,464.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim Maguire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 1997, which sold at auction in November 2003 for AUD 329,000.00 (€ 198,469.70).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 119.500,00 (€ 72.464,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden.
