Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work La Oroya by Tilsa Tsuchiya. The price achieved of USD 93,750.00 (€ 85,273.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tilsa Tsuchiya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tristán e Isolda in May last year with an auction result of USD 882,000.00 (€ 821,917.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Oroya von Tilsa Tsuchiya zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 85.273,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tilsa Tsuchiya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tristán e Isolda im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 882.000,00 (€ 821.917,81).
