Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Mito del árbol by Tilsa Tsuchiya. The price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,206.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tilsa Tsuchiya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tristán e Isolda in May last year with an auction result of USD 882,000.00 (€ 821,917.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mito del árbol von Tilsa Tsuchiya zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.206,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tilsa Tsuchiya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tristán e Isolda im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 882.000,00 (€ 821.917,81).
