The work Ser Mítico by Tilsa Tsuchiya was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2021. It achieved a price of USD 350,000.00 (€ 287,026.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tilsa Tsuchiya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tristán e Isolda, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 882,000.00 (€ 821,917.81).

Die Arbeit Ser Mítico von Tilsa Tsuchiya wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 287.026,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tilsa Tsuchiya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tristán e Isolda beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 882.000,00 (€ 821.917,81) versteigert wurde.
