Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Una mujer callada bajo la sombra de luna by Tilsa Tsuchiya was auctioned at Christies in New York in March this year. It achieved a price of USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,374.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tilsa Tsuchiya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tristán e Isolda in May last year with an auction result of USD 882,000.00 (€ 821,917.81).

Die Arbeit Una mujer callada bajo la sombra de luna von Tilsa Tsuchiya kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 6.374,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tilsa Tsuchiya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tristán e Isolda im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 882.000,00 (€ 821.917,81).
