Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Till Freiwald. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,700.00 (€ 4,308.39). Admittedly, works by Till Freiwald have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lotta in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 26,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Till Freiwald zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.700,00 (€ 4.308,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Till Freiwald auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lotta im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.250,00.
